The hamburger is back:
The long awaited debut solo album “Icarus” finally sees the day of light. The german drum and bass producer Roland Bogdahn aka Syncopix took 12 months time to give his heartblood to this piece of music. While touring around Europe Syncopix caught up with all different influences and took his inspirations back into the studio.

The Album CD “ICAUS” comes with 13 exclusive productions focusing the club-genre around 174bpm. The sound of the 2 times German drum and bass award winner is his ID and a trademark that’s standing out when you hear it in the club. This conceptional album reflects the whole bandwidth of the man. From 90s rave-school anthem (Nightlistener) paired up with the neon sounds of the 80s (Disc Go!) and Progrock influenced tracks (Anonymous) have already been smashed by drum and bass pro-league dj´s like Logistics, London Electricity, Marky and High Contrast.
The sound of “Chronos” and “Embraces & Curses”(feat. Vocal talent Ruben of Rogue Soul) “Blue Fog” and “Dynamo” is hot liquid wax as it’s the sound Syncopix has been known for since his release on labels like Hospital Records, Liquid V and Integral. Rounding up a beautiful and uncompromising album, “ICARUS” comes up with a sleevedesign by Ricky Trickartt who´s known for his coverdesign skills and originality.
The first chapter will be out on CD through Groove Attack in April 2008 and we can see and hear Syncopix presenting his music-book on his tour through Europe and middle east.
